Encryption

The process of converting information or data into a code, especially to prevent unauthorized access. All video content should be encrypted, both at-rest (when stored in local devices, caches, or within a server), as well as in-motion as video is transmitted from sender to receiver. Organizations ideally manage their own encryption keys, protecting against unauthorized access to video content.
