Paul Sparta is CEO and Chairman of the Board of Vbrick. Sparta has twenty-five years’ experience as an operating executive, investor, and Board Director for a number of software and technology companies. He is currently Managing Partner of Acme Nova Partners, and is also an independent Board Director for Branding Brand, Elevate Services Inc. He also served as Chairman and CEO of Plateau Systems, which was acquired by SuccessFactors/SAP.

Stephen brings over 20 years of experience in financial operations working with growing technology companies. Steve previously held senior roles including CFO of Plateau Systems and Director of Finance for Forrester Research, Inc. Steve is responsible for leading the strategic planning and administrative functions of the company.

Shailesh Lohiya has over 15 years of progressive leadership experience in the software industry specializing in architecture, cloud, SOA, building highly scalable enterprise products and applications. Shailesh has served in key technical and management positions in companies ranging from technology start-ups to larger software companies such as SuccessFactors/SAP, BearingPoint, and Tata Consultancy Services.

Norah McDonald brings with her 25+ years of experience with expertise in building and leading high performing global Marketing teams to accelerate growth. She has built and led teams through growth and transformation at several B2B SaaS companies including Veracode, Checkmarx and Anaqua Inc. Norah is responsible for Vbrick’s global marketing strategy serving as our Chief Marketing Officer.

Michael McDonnell has been with Vbrick for over eight years. He has had more than twenty years experience as leading in-house counsel for software and technology companies in the DC area.

Terry Medhurst has over 20 years of experience in the procurement, design and delivery of enterprise software solutions. Prior to Vbrick, Terry served as Global Vice President of Professional Services for Plateau Systems and previously founded a company focused on delivering network design and groupware/collaboration solutions.

Rachael Mott brings with her 16+ years of experience with expertise in building and leading strategic alliances, driving increased routes to market, and accelerated growth. She has built and led alliances for Global System Integrators and SaaS companies, including Hitachi Solutions, IBM, and Microsoft. Rachael is responsible for Vbrick’s strategic alliance strategy serving as our Vice President of Global Alliances.

Brian Murphy has over 25 years of experience in operational oversight, financial management, strategic planning and development as well as executive leadership roles in software/SaaS organizations. Brian spent twelve years as President & Chief Operating Officer of Plateau Systems where he realized a highly successful acquisition of the company by SuccessFactors (acquired by SAP).

Jim Rich has over 20 years of sales leadership experience in the software industry with expertise in digital transformation and business intelligence. Jim has served in key sales and revenue marketing positions at Sisense, Anaplan and Salesforce.

John Senior has been developing hardware and software systems for more than 35 years, including over 22 years helping Vbrick shape and lead the enterprise video streaming industry. He has been a key contributor to dozens of successful end-to-end projects with responsibilities ranging from the highest levels of product conception and project/team management to the lowest levels of software and hardware implementation. During his years at Vbrick he has been a key member of the development team for all video streaming products and protocols including all components of Vbrick’s class-leading enterprise CDN as well as multiple generations of video management systems and streaming video appliances.

Senior Director of Human Resources Kim is responsible for developing and implementing global HR initiatives to drive company culture, strengthen values, establish policies and procedures, and reinforce the behaviors needed to support the company’s strategy, objectives, and growth. Kim’s 15 + years of experience has been focused in the technology industry where she has helped prepare high growth companies for scale in commercial and government enterprises. She holds a degree from The State University of New York at Fredonia and is still waiting for the Buffalo Bills to win a Superbowl.


Board of Directors

Joel Adams founded Adams Capital Management in 1994 and raised $815 million of capital since inception. Before establishing ACM, Joel served for eight years as Vice President and General Partner of Fostin Capital Corp., a Pittsburgh-based investment firm. Prior to Fostin, Joel served for seven years as a nuclear test engineer for General Dynamics.

Pete Chung is a Managing Director and Head of Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital and Co-Head and Managing Member of Morgan Stanley Venture Partners (“MSVP”), Morgan Stanley’s technology and healthcare focused late-stage funds. Previously, Pete Co-Founded Morgan Stanley Technology Ventures, the strategic investment arm of Morgan Stanley Technology Investment Banking.

Mark Ferrer is executive vice president and chief revenue officer at Citrix. Prior, Mark worked at SAP as the chief operating officer and executive vice president of Global Customer Operations and held various leadership roles in the software and services space, including serving as CEO for two public companies and heading global software sales at HP.
