Zone Name | Yes | A descriptive name for the zone; normally indicative of where the zone will cover or what types of devices it will house. |
Supports Multicast | Enable to indicate whether or not the zone will support multicast. | |
IP Addresses | Yes | Both IPv4 and IPv6 zones are accepted. Note: IPv6 shorthand notation not accepted. IP addresses should be separated by carriage returns. IP ranges are divided by a dash. Example: 168.222.108.1-168.222.108.254 If a user’s IP address falls into the range specified, the zone will be used for that user and content will be served from that zone and device. This is important when setting up Zone Logic and Hierarchy. |
Supports Rev Connect | Enable Rev Connect for this Zone. This will enact peer-sharing between browsers in this zone for HLS Webcasts and video conferences. This feature requires additional licensing to be available and displayed, please see your Sales representative for more information. Additional configuration options will become visible once this is enabled. This is disabled by default. |

Override Account Slide Delay Setting | This checkbox allows you to override the Rev account slide delay settings that have been defined under the Media Settings > Slide Delay section. If an account slide delay has not been set manually and has been turned off, this checkbox will not appear. See: Recording | |
Delay in Seconds | Specify the delay in seconds. If this setting is not used, the account level settings are used. |

Available Streams | Available streams on the selected device that are available to be designated as viewing streams in the zone. Click the stream to add it to the Selected Streams column. It will then be used in the zone as a viewing stream. | |
Selected Streams | Streams that have been selected as viewing streams in the zone. Click a stream to remove it. It will be placed back in the Available Streams column and no longer available for use as a viewing stream. |
Caution: Be aware of what zone you are placing devices and streams. For example, in the image above, Akamai HLS streams should only be zoned for outside remote users. |
