Enable Public Webcasts
Rev allows the ability to create and host Public Webcasts. This means that a user need not authenticate or possess a Rev user account to view a Webcast. However, this functionality must first be enabled by a Rev Admin account in System Settings.
*To enable the ability to create Public Webcasts:
1. Navigate to Admin > System Settings > Security.
2. Scroll to the Public Access section and click the Enable Public Webcasts checkbox if not already selected.
3. If Public Webcast access is not enabled, this means that Event Admins and Hosts will not be able to set the event Listing Type to Public during set up. The tab will not be visible. See: Schedule a Public Webcast Event
4. Account Admins may also create custom registration fields to use with Public Webcasts. See: Public Webcast Registration Fields
