System Settings Overview
System Settings in Vbrick Rev determine how security is handled, contact and billing information for your organization, and system environment options such as keys, branding, and the Home Page look and feel.
Options under the System Settings menu include:
Security — Used to configure password options that will be used for your system such as how complex it is and whether or not it will use upper or lower case letters, numbers, and special characters. Lockout settings, session timeout, sharing/embedding settings, public access options, and single sign on settings are also defined here.
API Keys — Define and manage the API keys you have added to your system to connect Rev with external devices.
Key Management — Used to manage your own encryption Master Key for use with Rev and AWS S3.
Environment — Configure the system’s email server and settings so that emails are sent automatically to your user accounts when necessary. (Note: This menu is only visible from an Admin Account of the root account environment. If you are not an admin or are not logged into the Rev root account, you will not see this menu option. See: "Root Account System Settings" in the Rev Root Account Functions User Guide on the Documentation Site)
Branding — Customize the colors and logo of the system. Apply custom styles and colors to the Rev header and Featured Video carousel.
Custom Fields — Add custom fields to Rev to add details to video content that are specific to your organization.
System Messages — Set a system message, such as a maintenance message, to appear at a specific start date and time that will continue until an end date and time that you specify. (Note: This menu is only visible from an Admin Account of the root account environment. If you are not an Admin or are not logged into the Rev root account, you will not see this menu option. See: Rev Root Account User Guide on the Documentation Site for more details)
