Enable Prepositioning of Individual Videos
You may want to preposition important content immediately instead of waiting for defined time frames on the DME to occur. If you have the Enable Prepositioning of Individual Videos option enabled, you will enable an additional table in Video Settings titled Preposition. Only Account Admins and Media Admins are able to enable and disable this feature and use the Preposition tab once enabled.
To enable prepositioning of individual videos:1. Navigate to Admin > Media Settings > Features.
2. Select Enable Prepositioning of Individual Videos checkbox. This adds a Preposition tab in Video Settings.
3. The video must be finished processing before this will occur.
When Enable Prepositioning of Individual Videos is enabled:
●The Preposition tab is visible to Media and Account Admins but not Media Contributors.
●This tab can be used to set a date and time to preposition the individual video to all DMEs that have VOD playback set to true.
●Even those DMEs not marked to preposition content will receive the video at the date and time specified so long as VOD playback is set to true.
●If other uploads are in progress, the prepositioned individual video will be prioritized.
