Add an Akamai Live Device
You will need to add an Akamai Live device if you plan to utilize Video Conference (VC) Live Webcast events. VC Live events are a cloud-only feature and are enabled by Vbrick. Once enabled, you must add your Akamai Live device. At that point, you may create and host your events using live video conferences as your video source while taking advantage of Rev’s Webcast event features.

Tip: Currently supported are Webex, Cisco DX and Cisco SX video conference devices. Contact Vbrick Support Services to obtain the required field values.
Most fields will be provided to you by Vbrick Support Services.
Keep in mind that all VC Live Webcast events will automatically use Akamai Live devices (once added) for distribution. Rev allows a maximum of four concurrent VC Live events active on each Akamai Live device. Further, each device uses DME v3.15 or higher for reflecting VC Live Webcast events. Shared API authorization keys are not currently supported for this functionality.
