Add an Akamai Secure Streaming Custom Device
If you are using an Akamai integration with Vbrick Rev, you can create a secure streaming custom device for specific use with Akamai that will prevent URL sharing. Similar to other custom devices, you may define the Akamai device as either a source or a destination (or both) in addition to using Vbrick’s Encoders and DMEs.

Tip: Make sure you configure your Vbrick devices before you begin adding them. See: Device Initial Configuration and Set Up
*To add an Akamai secure streaming custom device:
1. Contact Vbrick Support Services and request an Akamai secure streaming URL and token key for your device. You will not be able to move forward until you have this URL with the key appended to the end of the URL.
2. Once you receive the URL from support, navigate to Admin > Devices > Source Devices and LDAP Connectors > Add a Device button.
3. Select Add Custom Device from the dropdown and complete the fields below.
