Team Role Definitions and Permissions
Keep in mind that Rev also has Team roles and permissions that are separate from Rev roles though they are similar in function. Team roles and permissions relate only to the management of a Rev team. Further, Rev roles do not have permissions within the scope of a Team, and this includes a Rev Account Admin. Instead, Admins will need to access the Team through the Users menu if needed.
Because of this, you should make sure that your Teams have at least one Team Admin assigned when you create a Team so that you have someone in charge of managing the Team settings and members. This also means that you may designate a non-admin account in Rev a Team Admin for a Team if you so choose since the roles and permissions are entirely separate.

Description
Team Admin
Access to All Team Features
Manage All Team Content
Manage All Team Users and Groups
Ability to Edit All Team Content
Similar to the Rev Account Admin role within the context of the Team module and page in that this role has all the abilities of the Team Member and Team Contributor in addition to being able to edit new Team members and Team settings (of the specific Teams they administer).
As a result, you may not edit the settings of any Teams where you do not have the Team Admin role assigned even if you are an Account Admin in Rev (on a Team page).
As previously stated, within the context of a Team, the Team role governs not the Rev role.
Team Contributor
All permissions granted to Team Members, plus permissions to:
Upload video assets (anything available under the Add Content + icon) including recording live streams
View/edit content based on permissions
Similar to the Media Contributor role in Rev. This role has view and upload permissions to the Team, along with sort and filter abilities.
However, Team Contributors have no ability to edit Team settings and members. Only the Team Admin may do this.
Team Member
View, sort, and filter video assets to which Team has been granted access
Attend events to which Team has been granted access
This user cannot add content to the Team
The default role that is assigned when you first add a user or group to a Team.
This role is similar to the Media Viewer role in Rev and only has view, sort, and filter access. It may not upload or edit Team video assets.
