Enable Legal Hold Functionality
Admins can decide if account Admins will have the ability to place a legal hold on one or more videos at a time in Rev. To do this, the legal hold functionality in Rev will need to be enabled system wide first.
To enable the legal hold functionality:1. Navigate to Admin > System Settings > Security.
2. Select the Enabled checkbox in the Legal Hold section.
When enabled:
●The Apply Legal Hold option appears under Video Settings so that a legal hold may be applied to an individual video. This is visible to account admins only.
When disabled:
●The Apply Legal Hold option is removed from Video Settings.
●Removes legal hold from all videos where it was previously applied while keeping their status inactive.
●For videos currently in an approval process, the approval process starts again with the first approver needing to re-approve.
●An email is sent to all account admin that the Legal Hold functionality has been disabled and details which videos have been affected.
