Enable Webex Meetings Live Streaming Support
When support for live streaming from Webex is enabled in Rev, you are able to access the following functions directly from your Webex Meeting client:
●Stream a Webex Meeting to a Rev Webcast Event. Start and broadcast your Rev Webcast event directly from your Webex Meeting, including the ability to save your meeting as a (VOD) video once completed.
●Stream a Webex Meeting as a new VOD recording. This records your Webex Meeting as a new (VOD) video in Rev. Once complete, update the Video Settings in Rev as you normally would.
Caution: This is a Rev Cloud only feature that requires Rev v7.31 or later and Webex Meetings WBS39.10 or later. |
To enable Webex Meetings Live Streaming Support:1. Navigate to Admin > Media Settings > Integrations.
2. Scroll to the Webex Meetings section.
3. Select the Support for Webex Meeting Live Streaming checkbox.
4. Enter the Webex Meeting Site Url. Contact your Webex Administrator if needed.
You may now use Webex Meetings live streams as the source for both Webcast Events and VOD recordings in Rev.
