Expiration Management
The Expiration Management menu displays expiration rules for video uploads that have been created and allows you to define new expiration parameters for video uploads.

Note: Expiration Management must be enabled in Features before you may use this feature. See: Enable Expiration Rules for Video Uploads.
Expiration rules may be based on specific dates or how many times a video has been viewed. A default rule may be set for all video uploads in Rev as well.
The Expiration Management module displays:
Column
Description

Rule Type / Days
The types of rule you may create.
Number of Days Before Expiry: Must be greater than zero. The video will be visible for the number of days in the Days column and then be expired and set to either Inactive or Deleted.
Number of Days without Views: Must be greater than zero. The number of days in the Days column the video may go without being viewed (or partially viewed) before it will be expired and set to either Inactive or Deleted.
The video uploader will be emailed 7 days prior to video expiration and again upon the actual expiration no matter which rule is created.
Delete Upon Expiry
Specifies that, if selected, content will be deleted upon expiration.
Delete (x)
Deletes the expiration rule. If you delete an expiration rule, videos that have been set to expire under that rule will no longer expire.
Additional functionality:
