Set a Channel Stream for a Current Set Top Box
Once a pending STB has been accepted, it will be moved to the Current STBs tab where you may set a previously configured channel for it to stream.
*To set a channel stream for a current Set Top Box:
1. Navigate to Admin > Devices > Set Top Boxes
2. Click the Current STBs tab
3. Each STB that has been previously accepted will be listed.
4. Note that in addition to the Host Name, IP Address, and MAC Address of the STB, also displayed is the Status and Current Channel that is streaming (if previously set).
5. Select the checkbox to the left of the STB you want to configure.
6. Click Bulk Action > Set Channel.
7. The Set Channel dropdown box will appear at the top of the Current STBs tab where you can select a previously configured IPTV channel stream to play on the STB. You can also specify if closed captions should be enabled. Note that the video must have closed captions for this to function.
8. Click the Save or Cancel button to complete the configuration. The Status column will display the update once tuning is complete.

Note: If the Connector DME does not receive updates from an STB, it will be marked offline in the Status column.
The MF-STB is a 100 Base-T (100 Mbps) network connection. On 1Gbps network environments, some inexpensive, unmanaged 10/100/1000 Base-T switches (responsible for communicating with the MF-STB) introduce playback issues due to amount of buffering and flow control (specifically for converting 1000 down to 100 Base-T). If you are having playback issues, connect the MF-STB directly to a better managed switch, or investigate a good quality 100 Base-T switch to deploy between the MF-STB and your current managed switch.
