Schedule an Automated Webcast Event
Rev makes it possible to schedule an event that begins broadcasting at the appointed start time on its own, automatically, without the need for the Event Host to start it. In this case, you need to set your event to automated.
When a Webcast event is automated:
●Event and Account Admins are always able to see, edit, and join automated events through the calendar and carousel just as they would a manually scheduled event.
●If the event has not started, an Admin may always switch the event back to manual (non-automated) status for control by disabling the automated flag.
To create a an automated event:
1. Navigate to > > .
3. Set to in settings.
4. The event will begin automatically at the designated and will use the Host’s time zone.
5. The event will also be broadcast, recorded, and ended automatically.
6. Once the event begins, the Event Host may join the event and control it (presentations, polls, comments, etc.).
