Customize and Add Additional Help Links to Rev
You may specify additional help links for Rev and customize the default help link for Rev as well if you want to include your own branded help topics for your organization. You may link to an email address or a URL as needed.
*To use customize and add help links:
1. Navigate to Admin > System Settings > Branding. > Header
2. Click in the Customize Default Help Link field to modify the default Rev help URL. Note that you will no longer be linked to Rev’s default (and official version) of Help if you modify this URL. If you still want to be able to view the default Rev Help and add your own help settings, add your own additional help links instead.
3. Add additional help links by clicking the Additional Help Links drop-down and specifying whether you want to add either an Email Address or URL. Enter a description and then where the link will branch to or email address.
4. Click the Reset Default button once you have updated the URL if you want to reset the URL.
5. Click Save to apply your updates.
6. Click the Add Help Link button if you need more options.
7. Once saved, clicking the Help button in Rev will now display the description(s) you added. The default Help link will branch either to the default Rev Help as usual or, if you modified it, to your new customized Help link. The additional new options will either branch to the new URLs or pull up an email window to email the email address you added.
