Set a Default Webcast Event Template
Account Admins may specify a Webcast template to be the default template for all new events that are created. This means that the settings in the template will automatically populate and the Admin has control over which settings for new events are enabled or disabled by default. For example, Q&A and Polls could be disabled by all new Webcasts by default if desired.
*To set a default Webcast template:
1. Navigate to Admin > Media Settings > Webcast Templates.
2. A previously saved list of templates appear. If a default template has been previously set it is noted by a Default label.
3. Use the Actions dropdown menu to set a default template.
4. Use the Actions dropdown menu and select Clear Default to deselect a previously selected default template.
 
Note: Rev includes a Standard Template out-of-the-box for new accounts or for those accounts that have been upgraded from Rev versions prior to the Webcast template feature release. The Standard Template reflects “hard coded” Rev defaults for a new Webcast event in terms of enabled options and settings and is set as the default template.
This template may be deleted by an Account Admin or may be cleared as the default template as desired.
