VoiceBase Transcription
Rev integrates with VoiceBase so that, if you have a VoiceBase account, you may send a video for transcription and have a SubRip (.srt) file created directly from Rev. Once your video has been transcribed and the .srt file returned to Rev, your videos are deleted from VoiceBase, ensuring your account’s security.
Note: As of this time, English is the only supported language in VoiceBase. You must have a VoiceBase account created at https://www.voicebase.com/ before you begin this process. |
To enable the VoiceBase Integration in Rev:1. Navigate to Admin > Media Settings > Integrations.
2. Select the Enabled checkbox next to VoiceBase Integration in the AI & Machine Learning. section.
3. Enter the Bearer Token obtained from your VoiceBase account.
4. To obtain a Bearer Token, log in to https://apis.voicebase.com/developer-portal.
5. Navigate and click the Bearer Token Management widget.
6. Click the New Key button in the upper right corner to generate a new Bearer Token.
7. Copy the generated token into the Bearer Token field in Rev.
a. Note: While automatic transcription may be configured, VoiceBase transcription may not be used for automatic translation services at this time.
9. Click the Save button to save your transcription settings.
This adds the following functionality to Rev:
●A Generate .srt Files tab in the Subtitles section of Advanced Video Settings.
●This tab will allow you to generate a .srt file for the selected video using VoiceBase or continue to create your own using Rev’s upload feature.
●Keep in mind that VoiceBase has its own pricing structure and is pay as you go per video file.
Tip: If you need to disable VoiceBase, the integration values entered for will be saved should you enable the integration again. |
