Note: By default, all uploaded video as well as video URLs (live and VOD) and recorded Webcasts are set to Inactive status and must be manually activated. This allows you to control when videos are available for general viewing so that video settings such as thumbnails, categories, access controls, and so forth may be put in place before allowing your audience to view them. |
Setting | Description |

Basic Settings | Video title, description, expiration date, and access controls are contained here. The video’s status is also switched from inactive to active within the Basic Setting dropdown. |
Advanced Settings | Enable closed captioning, upload subtitle files, supplemental file downloads, and change or add a thumbnails. |
Preposition | Immediately push the video to VOD DMEs once processing is through. This setting must be enabled to display. |
Edit Video | Includes such abilities as cropping portions of the video from the front, middle, and end of the clip which will change how it plays and the time length. |
Replace Video | Allows you to replace the video with a new or different version of the [existing] video. |
Apply Legal Hold | Used to place a lock on the video so that it may no longer be viewed or accessed. |
Delete | Used to entirely remove the video from Rev. |
