Duplicate a Webcast Event
The duplication feature makes it easy to replicate an event so that you may create a “template event” that you may use as many times as you like to quickly set up an event that has the features and technical set up that you need. This means you do not have to create a Webcast event from scratch every time.
When a Webcast event is duplicated, the following features from each section are copied:
●Basic Settings Section
a. Title
b. Description
c. Automated toggle
d. Lobby Time
e. Timezone
f. Categories
g. Tags
●Video Source Section
a. Presentation Profile / Video Address / Webex Team
b. Closed Captions setting
●Hosts and Attendees Section
a. Event hosts
b. Moderators
c. Listing Type
d. Unlisted setting
e. Estimated attendees
●Attendee Engagement Section
a. Polls
b. Chat
c. Q&A
d. Upload presentation file and enabling download settings
e. Uploaded background image and background size settings
To duplicate an event:
2. Click button.
3. “Copy of” is added to the event .
4. The event start date/time is pre-populated with the next hour of the current date/time.
5. The duration of the event is the same as the original.
6. Click to make a copy of the event or to cancel the duplication.
