VBrick is demonstrating its new, proprietary cloud-based video conferencing streaming and recording service that changes video from SIP end points and bridges into universal IP streaming so anyone, anywhere, can watch, webcast, collaborate, sell, train, educate and innovate with video.
An integral component of its Rev enterprise video platform, the new service extend “user-generated content” capabilities to subject matter experts, executives, trainers, product managers, human resources and sales teams directly from their end point or SIP-compliant device. Once Rev identifies a video conferencing session as a source, it applies automated workflows for real-time transcoding, category publishing, user authentication and bandwidth-efficient video distribution. The asset then becomes available, alongside all other video assets, via the dynamic, cloud-scalable Rev video portal for cross-platform search, viewing and sharing.
The new capabilities are part of VBrick’s mission to unleash the power of video to transform the workplace by simplifying and automating video capture, management, distribution and integration. In addition to video conferencing sources, Rev includes automated workflows for video from cameras, production workstations, encoders, unified communications, mobile devices, desktop webcams, operational cameras, set top boxes and streaming servers.
VBrick will highlight how Rev eliminates stovepipes between Cisco video sources, including Cisco Acano Recorder assets – which can also comprise Skype for Business, WebRTC, Polycom, and legacy video systems – as well as Cisco TelePresence, Cisco Spark, Cisco WebEx and Cisco Jabber.
The Rev cloud video conferencing streaming and recording capabilities will be offered on a consumption-based model, with flexibility to apply hours to both recording and streaming and will be included with Rev user subscriptions. The Rev cloud video conferencing streaming and recording capabilities will be available later this summer.
The VBrick Rev enterprise video platform uniquely removes the technology and pricing restraints that have held business back from tapping video’s clear advantage to persuade, inform and compel people, wherever they are. Rev’s technology delivers a modern portal experience to workers that mirrors that of consumer websites, intuitive workflows that enable non-technical users to run the most common video applications, and its own software-defined network distribution capability that securely delivers premium visual quality across many devices and widely varying network conditions. Rev’s pricing model encourages unlimited video creation, viewing, bandwidth and storage via a straightforward, predictable annual subscription.
VBrick believes in the power of video to transform the workplace. Its Rev enterprise video platform removes the technology and pricing restraints that have held business back from tapping video’s clear advantage to persuade, inform and compel people, wherever they are.
