Joel Adams

President at Adams Capital Management and Owner, Adams Capital Management

Joel Adams founded Adams Capital Management in 1994 and raised $815 million of capital since inception. Before establishing ACM, Joel served for eight years as Vice President and General Partner of Fostin Capital Corp., a Pittsburgh-based investment firm. Prior to Fostin, Joel served for seven years as a nuclear test engineer for General Dynamics, where he managed chemical, electrical and mechanical engineering teams and directed nuclear power plant sea trials.

Pete Chung 

Managing Principal, Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital

Pete Chung is a Managing Director and Head of Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital and Co-Head and Managing Member of Morgan Stanley Venture Partners (“MSVP”), Morgan Stanley’s technology and healthcare focused late-stage funds. Previously, Pete Co-Founded Morgan Stanley Technology Ventures, the strategic investment arm of Morgan Stanley Technology Investment Banking, and Pete was also involved with Morgan Stanley Principal Investment’s growth equity investing activity. Pete joined Morgan Stanley Technology Investment Banking in 1993 and helped open Morgan Stanley’s first Silicon Valley office in Menlo Park in 1994.

Doug Dennerline

CEO and Executive Chairman at BetterWorks

Doug took over as CEO and Chairman of the Board for BetterWorks in March 2018.  Prior to that he spent 5 plus years as the CEO of Alfresco.  A leader in a next-generation software platform that helps large enterprise customers manage the content and processes. Alfresco is a private company with approximately 400 employees and a $100,000,000 in revenue.  Doug served for 11 years, from 1998 to August 2009, at Cisco Systems, Inc. [CSCO], in multiple senior executive roles including running the US Enterprise and the CEO of WebEx post the acquisition of WebEx in 2007 for 3 years.

Parag Patel

Executive Vice President of Customer Operations at Reltio

Parag is responsible for all of the go-to-market functions.  He is responsible for Sales, Field Operations, Partnerships, Customer Success, Technical Customer Support, Professional Services, and Training & Education.  His goal is to create operational excellence in all of these areas in order to ensure that Reltio’s customer base grows rapidly and gains maximum value from Reltio’s Self-Learning Data Platform.

Paul Sparta

Managing Partner of Acme Nova Partners

Paul Sparta currently serves as Managing Partner of Acme Nova Partners, a private early-stage and opportunity capital fund. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Vbrick Systems and as a member of the Board of Directors for Branding Brand, Cognitive Scale, Elevate Services, and WayBlazer.

Previously, Sparta was Chief Integration Officer for SuccessFactors (acquired by SAP) a public company that provides Cloud-based enterprise HR software, and he was Chairman and CEO of Plateau Systems, a provider of SaaS HR and Learning software that was acquired by SuccessFactors/SAP.

Sparta has an extensive background in technology consulting and software. He is a US Navy veteran. He has authored several articles in leading publications on enterprise software and technology.
