VC Gateway Configuration : VC Gateway Overview : Deliver a VC Gateway Stream

Deliver a VC Gateway Stream
The VC Gateway creates an RTP input stream of the video conference which you can output in multiple ways to local and remote viewers. A VC Gateway stream is no different than any other DME input stream. This means you can use any of the streaming output methods (Flash Push, RTSP Push, Transport Stream, HLS Streaming, RTP Relay) supported by the DME. See DME Output Streams for more about delivering VC Gateway streams
The VC Gateway streams are delivered to the RTP Server. If you wish to deliver the VC Gateway stream using any of the output use cases supported by the Multi-protocol server, you must configure an internal RTSP/RTP pull (In-6) to make the stream available to the Multi‑Protocol server.

VC Gateway Streams Playback
Playback of VC Gateway streams is only limited by the configured output and the players you have available to play that output. For more about playing back VC Gateway streams, see Play a DME Stream.

Note: The DME can receive a G.711 audio stream from the VC Gateway via a connected call and will convert the audio to AAC which can then be streamed out of the DME via RTP and other delivery methods. Without a VC Gateway the DME cannot pull directly from a source that has G.711 audio. The video input through the VC Gateway must be H.264.
