Export Video Viewership and Inventory Reports
The Admin report dashboard may be exported into two separate CSV Excel spreadsheets to save and review. Further, the spreadsheet has more details that may be desirable to you than simply viewing them on the dashboard in Rev. You may export a viewership report or an inventory report. Both are described below.
Video Viewership Report Export
*To export a viewership report:
1. Access the account report dashboard by clicking the Gear icon or the Reports menu option once in Admin view.
2. Click the Videos tab.
3. Select Viewership Reports in the Video Reports CSV dropdown
4. Select the date range you want to export. Note that this range only applies toward the csv export and is not applied to the report dashboard. Further, you may not use a date range on mobile devices though you may use your tablet. You may choose:
Today
Yesterday
Last 7 Days
Last 30 Days
Custom (A range you specify with a maximum 12 month period able to be defined)
5. Click the Download button in the upper right corner.
6. The AccountVideoSessions.csv file will be placed in your Downloads folder with the following data collected:
Date [each video] is viewed
Video ID
Title of each video
Description of each video
Duration of each video
Username of person who viewed the video
First name of person who viewed the video
Last name of person who viewed the video
Email address of person who viewed the video
IP address of person who viewed the video
Whether or not the video was completed
Zone the video was viewed from
Device that was used to view the video
Playback URL
Video Inventory Report Export
*To export a video inventory report:
1. Access the account report dashboard by clicking the Gear icon or the Reports menu option once in Admin view.
2. Click the Videos tab.
3. Select Inventory Reports in the Video Reports CSV dropdown.
4. Click the Download button in the upper right corner.
5. The VideoInventory.csv will be placed in your Downloads folder with the following data collected (Note: Report translated to user’s language if applicable):
Video ID
Title
Upload Date (account time zone)
Uploaded By (Uploader User Account)
Duration of video in format hh:mm:ss
Status (Active or Inactive)
Last Viewed (account time zone)
Completion Rate (percentage)
Content Type ("Live" or "VOD")
Publish Date
Expiration Date; only for specific date, expiration rules are not specified here.
Access Control (private, public, teams)
Enabled Downloads: Yes or 'blank' for No
Enabled Comments: Yes or 'blank' for No
Enabled Ratings: Yes or 'blank' for No
Categories assigned
Tags assigned
Custom Fields assigned
Number of comments received
Average Rating
Total Views
Downloads (Total)
Source of the Video (upload, scheduled event, Webex, upload360, scheduled recording, or link)
Source Type of the Video (Rev, API, Video Conference, Webex)
