Activate or Inactivate an Apple TV Display Device
Display devices, regardless of the particular integration, will be in an Active or Inactive status once registered with Rev. Only those that have been moved to Active Displays will be able to communicate and work with Rev. Administrators can change the device status by either editing the individual display or by using the checkboxes and Bulk Actions to Activate a number of devices.
To activate or inactivate an Apple TV display device in Rev:
1. Navigate to Devices > Display from the Admin menu.
2. Click the Inactive tab. This tab will list all devices that have been registered in Rev, but have not been activated. These devices cannot receive streams or connect with Rev until they are activated. The Active tab, conversely, contains all devices that have been activated.
3. Click Actions > Edit next to the device you wish to activate or inactivate. An edit screen will come up where you can change the device status from Inactive to Active. You may also use the Bulk Actions drop down to change the status of several devices at once if necessary.
