Browser Settings and Device Configurations
Some supported browsers require specific configurations or settings when used with Rev and are detailed below.
Microsoft Edge
The Rev URL should be added to your "Local Intranet" so that Rev can play http-based HLS/RTMP streams from DME. This has been tested and confirmed.
To add Rev’s URL to Local Intranet:1. In Internet Explorer, click Tools > Internet Options. (You may also type inetcpl.cpl in the Start menu).
2. On the Security tab, click Local Intranet > Sites.
3. Click Advanced and add your Rev URL in the Add this Web site to the zone box.
4. Click Add then close the form by clicking Close and then Ok and Apply as needed.
5. Restart your computer.
Note: Some organizations manage Local Intranet sites through Group policy and do not allow direct editing. This means you will need to request this update through your IT department. However, you may test this environment setting by temporarily adding it for a given user. |
